A hollow black porcelain heart with a clear glaze on hand dyed 100% cotton cord. 24” long with polished black porcelain end caps and a solid bronze clasp at the back.

This year I wanted to do something a little different, and release a design with some personal significance for me. I learned my passion for clay and for making things from my lovely grandfather, Roy. He used to carve these wooden hearts for us, and I treasure mine! Holding it in my hand always reminds me of him.

I decided to use this heart as a press mold, and created a small number of porcelain necklaces. Available for pre-order now, and will ship within 2 weeks.

All of our jewelry is handmade in our NE Portland studio. Because of this, there are slight variations between each piece and no two are exactly alike.
